Microfilm / Microfiche / Aperture Card Duplication

 

Your Microfilm or Microfiche can be duplicated for contingency purposes, if this continues to be your preferred method of storing information.

Alternatively, those Customers who decide to have their existing archives digitised and converted to CD or DVD sometimes choose to duplicate their microfilm/microfiche, as a precautionary measure, prior to handing over precious archived information that does not exist elsewhere. In this way, the original microfilm/microfiche can be retained whilst the duplicate set is used for the conversion process.

Though a sensible approach for unique data, it certainly is not a requirement.
