Data Protection
The Data Protection Act 1998 protects the rights of
individuals, by making sure that any Organisation that collects or
holds information about living people, does so in a way that is fair
to that person, and it requires every data controller and data processor
to register, who are handling personal details of individuals, placing
express obligations on you, as a Data Controller.
As a Data Processor, we are registered under the Data
Protection Act and entered in the Register - registration number
available
upon request – and are therefore bound by the Act to be compliant,
assuring you of the confidentiality applied to the information
we process on your behalf.
All employees here sign a ‘Statement
of Confidentiality’ which
is a further measure to protect all data.
For full details of the
Data Protection Act 1998, applying the ‘8
principles’ for the processing of personal data and relevant
fact sheets, please refer to: www.informationcommissioner.gov.uk
Good Clinical Practice (GCP)

In the same way that any Company needs to have stringent
confidentiality measures in place to protect information on individuals,
Pharmaceutical companies need to comply with the ICH Guidelines for Good
Clinical Practice regarding the trials they conduct involving
human subjects.
They can be assured that we are compliant with confidential
data handling and can assist them in meeting their obligations to
provide
assurances as to the integrity of their electronic records and
the
confidentiality of trial subjects.
